The event includes an adoption event, 5K and 1 -mile walks and activities for children, adults and pets. All proceeds donated to Friends of Animal Care & Control/MCACC will benefit the organization directly.
Pet Rules: Female dogs in heat are not allowed to participate, Animals must be at least 4 months old and all pets must be fully vaccinated (including rabies). Dogs must be leashed at ALL times, retractable type leashes not allowed, dogs who are aggressive toward people or other animals are not permitted.
Please have current identification, collar, tags and/or microchips on your pets.
$25 Per Walker registration fee ($30 day of event).

Also, invite a friend and if they mention your name when buying their ticket before Feb 24th, you will get entered into a special raffle drawing! We will be collecting donations of unopened dog and cat food wet and dry, for the Lost Our Home Pet Food Pantry - as well as any used womens, mens, clothing items or shoes for the Friends of Animal Care & Control Thrift Store. |
MARCH IS MAHALO MONDAYS FOR "FRIENDS"- AT HULA'S MODERN TIKI
Friends of Animal Care & Control will benefit from Hula's "Mahalo Monday's" program during the month of March 2012. Every Monday, Friends will receive 10% of the day's gross proceeds, so in March plan your business lunches at Hula's and join them for Happy Hour or dinner! Money raised through this program will help decrease the number of homeless animals in Maricopa County by funding the free spay neuter program through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control's SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program). Last year more than 11,000 animals were spayed or neutered at no cost!
